Presented by U.S. Army
Army research often drives health innovation. Our scientists will highlight cutting-edge solutions for mindfulness, acute stress, and sleep. The Army has identified efficient and effective ways to train mindfulness, strengthening an individual’s ability to make good decisions. During acute stress, however, individuals may freeze up and that’s when the Army’s latest advance in peer-based support (iCOVER) can make a difference. Beyond these techniques, sleep serves as a foundation for health. This research has universal application and highlights the Army's role as a health innovator.
