David Manley

Before joining the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, MAJ Manley’s previous assignments include serving as a Physician Assistant for the 6th Engineer Battalion (Airborne) in Fort Richardson, Alaska, the 82d Airborne Division Artillery in Fort Liberty, NC, and the Senior Physician Assistant for the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 11th Airborne Division in Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. As a Jumpmaster for 10 years, MAJ Manley performed 67 static-line parachute exits from five different military aircraft. MAJ Manley’s awards include the U.S. Army Master Parachutist Badge and two Meritorious Service Medals. He remains a fellow of the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants and a licensed member of the United States Parachute Association.
