Dr. Tina Burke earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kent State University in Kent, OH. She then earned a Master’s of Science in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado – Boulder, followed by a dual Ph.D. in Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of Colorado – Boulder. Dr. Burke is currently the Associate Branch Director for the Behavioral Biology Branch (BBB) at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. The BBB’s mission is to develop interventions and technologies to mitigate the effects of fatigue, increase resilience to traumatic stress, and promote performance in Soldiers. Dr. Burke has two kids and has had the pleasure of the support and companionship of her husband for the past 15 years.
