Fascinated by rap music since his teenage years, Koriass launched a first composition in 2001 and developed his style by taking part in rap battles. In 2006, he released a first EP, Mort de rire, which made him one of the most prominent artists of the emerging hip-hop scene in Québec.

In 2008, Koriass was drafted by 7ième Ciel Records, and devoted himself to producing his first album, Les racines dans le béton. Surrounded by well-known contributors, his solid production was critically acclaimed and was nominated at the ADISQ gala for Hip-hop album of the year and for Francophone Album of the Year, at the SOBA Gala. He won the Music video of the year at the Montreal Video Awards for Old School Pt.2.

Petites victoires, his second album, enjoyed a great success. The videoclip Enfant de l’asphalte,was watched 350 000 times on YouTube in less than one year. In summer 2012 he performed in most major events in Quebec such as Francofolies,Osheaga, Festival d'été de Qc and FMEAT. The autumn was marked by his nominations in 2 catégories at the ADISQ gala, as well as for the «Prix ECHO de la chanson SOCAN»
