Sustainable Fashion: Building a Conscious Wardrobe

On Demand Session Link

What we wear has a massive and often overlooked impact on the planet. Manufacturing clothes emits more planet-warming emissions than international air travel, and, globally, the recycling rate for clothing is just 25%, with most of last season's fashions ending up as garbage. As of 2020, a cultural shift and groundswell of individual, community, and corporate powers are combining to make positive change and make a fashion statement at the same time. Hear from a panel of experts on what sustainability in fashion looks like today and how you can easily build a more conscious wardrobe reflecting your personal values and style. We'll debate tech solutions, such as blockchain, and sustainable strategies as varied as zero waste, circular fashion, renting, swapping, upcycling, mending and much more.
