Mar 13, 2018

12:30pm – 1:30pm CT

With the global population projected to swell to nearly 10 billion by 2050, the big question is: how are we going to feed everybody? Don Cameron, general manager of Terranova Ranch, a 6,000-acre CA organic & conventional farm; Fred Haberman, the co-founder of Urban Organics, one of the country’s largest indoor aquaponics farms; and Thomas Haun, a senior vice president at PrecisionHawk, a company that sells commercial farming drone and UAV packages, will share their perspectives on innovation in agriculture & the future of food. They’ll explore cultural attitudes about technology & its use on today’s farms, considering how science & innovation can make farming sustainable & the food we eat better for people, animals & the planet.
