A proud Northwest native, Martell was born in Seattle in 1986. Upon graduating from high school he was drafted sixth overall by the Portland Trailblazers in 2005. Now in his 10th year in the NBA, Webster plays small forward for the Washington Wizards. His music is his medicine and has helped him work through injuries and the demanding life of a professional athlete.

Although he has written music for years, 2015 marks Sui’s first releases to the public. “Exposed” and “Disposition” are the first two singles off of Sui’s freshman studio album coming next year. In the meantime Martell is wrapping up an EP paying homage to his roots. Be ready for the EP early 2016.

Spending the off-season in Portland Martell and close friend/producer Neill Von Tally noted the immense talent in the Northwest that was not getting adequate recognition. The idea that this could be different spawned EYRST, a Portland based music and fashion label aiming to shine the spotlight on talented young artists in the area.
