Julio Piña is a Chilean band that plays different styles, such as Psychedelic Rock, Jazz, Klezmer, Surf but mainly Cumbia. The band members are from different port cities of Chile, fact that influences directly their boheme, danceable and own composed music.
Julio Piña started at the end of November of 2014 and after three months full of live shows and composing, they recorded thanks to the record label Mescalina, their first album called: Grandes Éxitos Vol. I
The band is recognized because of the live shows, where they develop intense and powerfull performances. Bass, guitar, keyboard, accordion, drums , percussion , saxophone , synthesizers and vocals plus the ambience of the audience produce the special sound of Julio Piña. All of that combined with hardcore improvisation to take us to the roots of the South American culture, this particular sound is described by them like “Psycho Chin-Chin” or “Cumbia Densa”.

Julio Piña will present the show of “Grandes Exitos Vol. I” mixed with new songs that will make you dance like you never knew you could!
