The Austin based Warrior Gospel Band is fueled by the fervor of the spirit and devotion to a wide ranging gospel sound. It's a potent combo of gospel quartet including rootsy guitar and vocals with soul and R&B inflected renderings and the sparkling inclusion of brass and reeds. Founder Lands performed, recorded and toured extensively in the gospel world before officially entering the ministry. Like his mentor, the late, great Cleophus Robinson, Sr., with whom he worked for 15 years, he marries stirring musicianship and call and response. The Warrior Gospel Band (TWGB) is a complete band.
