Joon Choi

Joon Choi, President of Weverse, is an experienced IT professional who has worked with leading IT-based platforms, content companies, and service providers, including Nexon, NCSOFT, and The Pinkfong Company. Since joining Weverse in 2021, he’s developed the platform into an innovative, one-of-a-kind global fandom offering, featuring content and commerce functions beyond conventional community platforms. Following the acquisition of Naver’s VLIVE operation division, Weverse launched Weverse LIVE in 2022, and expanded the ways its services enable 'fandom life' through live content and e-commerce. Under Choi’s leadership, Weverse is on track to become the world’s ‘No.1 Global Superfan Platform’, enhancing its services and expanding artist IP in regions including North America and Japan.
