High fuel prices, aggressive tax incentives, and a heightened awareness of the real-world impacts of global warming are pushing many to think (and think twice) about Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) – vehicles powered only by rechargeable batteries. Entries in the "cons" column have become less persuasive over the years. But that's not to say that BEVs have overcome their perceived shortcomings. Now a new generation of 'not to' reasons has emerged.

Our panel, comprised of selected BEV-sector leaders, will dive into the history of resistance to BEVs to explain where the industry is now. We will separate the signal from the fear and doubt to get at the real reasons behind adoption reluctance and how that will evolve over the coming years.
