Wellness Shouldn’t Imply Whiteness
The wellness industry is valued at over 3.3 Billion and it’s only on the rise. By 2027 the market is projected to reach 4.3 Billion. From the cultural appropriation of spiritual traditions to the current ‘clean girl aesthetic’ popularized by TikTok, minorities are consistently excluded from the conversation although nearly 4 in 10 Americans identify with a race or ethnic group other than white. Hear from BIPOC entrepreneurs from all facets of the industry reclaiming what wellness means, who it applies to, and how to practice it.
