Many startups want to be the “hare” with a move-fast approach to product development. But there’s a case for being more steady and thoughtful like the “tortoise.” To ultimately win the race, every step of the product development process needs to work well: turning ideas into working code, deploying written code, getting in front of users, and leveraging user feedback into your next big idea. It is important to quickly diagnose your points of friction, which can be organizational, technical, or due to poor design/execution quality. Knowing what to watch out for and when is key. Failing to address early will cost you and could ultimately sink your company. In this session, you’ll learn from the wins and failures of several leading technical leaders with both startup and big tech experience.
