Amy Truong

Amy Truong is the VP of Engineering at TaskRabbit where she is responsible for technical leadership and engineering execution at scale. With more than 20 years of experience, Amy has grown and developed technical teams across numerous domains, including open source, enterprise software, space tech, social media and consumer product development.

Prior to joining TaskRabbit, Amy has successfully led engineering teams through various stages of growth at Patreon, Planet Labs, Twitter, Rackspace, and IBM. At these companies, Amy led engineering teams to execute on business strategic initiatives required for profitability and sustained growth. Amy is passionate about building and connecting technology to solve real world problems, as well as growing a supportive community for women in tech. Over the past decade, she has spoken at numerous conferences and universities about these topics. Amy holds a B.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
