In today’s continuously changing and somewhat divided culture, we will lead an energized discussion on sport’s role in driving social justice and activism. The panel will explore the various facets to sport that have universal impact, from athlete star power to how the sport sector’s local impact is helping to drive change on a global scale. A diverse panel inclusive of athletes, thought leaders and activists will provide unique points of view on what has truly driven impact to date - along with supporting data, the dangers of inauthentic use of sport for social change, as well as the most immediate opportunities to leverage the universal language of sport to drive social justice.
