Alexandra Chalat
Alexandra is a leading visionary and academic on the subject of unique catalysts for change. A World Economic Forum Global Shaper and Managing Director of Beyond Sport, she has collaborated on social-change projects with a diverse range of organizations – TIME, ESPN, the NBA, the NFL, UNICEF, the US State Department, SAP, Virgin Sport and EY. She has led strategies that have included creating ESPN’s global community engagement activation, developing the Mayor of London’s sport for social integration approach, identifying ways the Qatar government can be more inclusive to migrant workers and activating the International Olympic Committee’s Sport for All policies. A University of Pennsylvania graduate — where she was a three-time recipient of the annual Benjamin Franklin All-Academic Award — she completed her MSc in Communications at the London School of Economics, writing her dissertation on the socio-economic impact of art and sport on urban environments.
