Recreating History: Dr. King and the March

This session will be a case study/post mortem of TIME’s immersive project The March, which brings Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech and the march on Washington D.C. to life through a location based VR experience. We will focus on the many factors that have to come together to pull this kind of project off successfully. It is part technical, creative, logistics, personalities, rights and the sheer gravitas of what we were trying to achieve. Failure was not an option but it can still be a scary ride.
