Today’s devices, interfaces, screens and apps are no longer local. This panel will introduce empirical research and field experiences on how people from different cultures, languages and places may interact with digital products and services differently through real-world examples of successes and failures. The panelists will offer design heuristics for how to approach interactive projects considering globalisation, multilingualism and cultural sensitivity.
