Julie Blitzer
Julie Blitzer is the Digital User Experience Manager for Design Group Italia, a studio with nearly 50 years of leadership in design, branding and innovation for clients around the world. She earned a Master in Interaction Design at Domus Academy in Milan and a B.A. in Government from Claremont McKenna College.
Julie has worked on projects with startups, e-commerce, consumer electronics, fashion, banking, education, non-profit, and governments. Julie loves the challenge of working on any kind of interface: apps, websites, interactive installations, and even home appliances. She is expert not only in the practical UI side of UX, but also in user research methods and the intersection between design and business.
Julie is a Visiting Lecturer at Domus Academy and Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan. In the past she has taught and mentored for Thinkful, General Assembly, Startup Weekend and Girls Who Code. Julie has spoken at numerous conferences and events including SXSW Interactive, IxDA's interaction conference, DroidCon & Netroots Nation.
