Not much has changed since the dawn of the ‘interruption era’ - businesses and brands must find new ways to connect with the modern consumer. You just have to look around to realize how often people are plugged into their headphones. So, as audio continues to play an increasing role in our everyday lives and as content commodifies, music and sound stand out as an opportunity for marketers. Many forms of culture have been thoroughly co-opted by brands, yet outside of simple sponsorship, there are few brands that truly understand sound branding and music culture.
