Timothy Johnson, aka Jaye Breed, is a 26 year old Austin, Texas singer/songwriter. He's a passionate R&B artist with a little edge and can write any genre of music. The son of two pastors, he started performing at the age of 13 at churches and various venues in Austin, Texas.
Jaye is what you would call, a dual threat. Not only can he bring the vocals and energy to his performances, he can also “get buckets!” He was awarded a full scholarship to Missouri Western University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree. His success on the court led to him professionally playing basketball in Egypt and Mexico.
Jaye is an artist who believes “music is love, music is power, music is an expression.” He believes people can be touched positively through music and is a great way to inspire change. Jaye is currently working on his debut mixtape entitled “Different Breed.” This mixtape will be followed by his EP “Welcome to the show.” Both will be released summer 2016.
