Static is a hip hop artist from the great state of Texas but you wouldn't know with his distinctive style and lyrics spewing from out the Live Music Capital.
The first years of his career consist of a group of friends he grew up doing music with where they released some mixtapes locally. After the group's direction went astray, Static the recluse, used the time to analyze the scene from a distance all while studying & digging deep into his self knowledge to create the solo music he was destined to do. He put out one solo project of original material titled "My Boombox" in 2012 after releasing 2 small mixtapes, all projects complimentary (free) to the public. Family matters cause Static to take a hiatus again from the scene but he's now back gearing up for "Deadly 7" EP, a 7 track packaged project with Hard beats & Controversial lyrics wrapped around sensitive subjects spoken in true hip hop fashion.

" With this project it gives you some Old Testament of an early life of mine, like confessions told (from anyone) uncensored in a booth for all Gods to hear. My music is not meant to change thoughts, but rather provoke thought & mainly let others who think like me know that their not alone."
Having done shows with groups opening up for Texas heavyweights ESG, Lil Keke, Beat King, Static is currently crafting his solo performances while performing local venues to (re)establish a new core fanbase. Following the footsteps of greats like Tupac, Outkast, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Scarface, Jay Z, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne & Eminem to name a few, Static adopted pieces from each of his favs & plan on leaving his own imprint in the soil. "I can tell he's seasoned", says X-Style member of Hip Hop group Character Assassins "he's dope, & that's very hard for me to say."
Deadly 7 is scheduled to be release soon containing phone dialogue commentary, written lyrics on the booklet, original music, mutiple visuals including music videos & original artwork etc. "The artist i love, they made fans gravitate to them just by being themselves consistently & speaking on subject matters creatively that affected their lives. That's where I'm going, not only with this project but for many. Content with messages & still be able to entertain & be lyrical is the lane I'm in."
Static is also currently working with local independent organizations in conjunction of building his brand as an artist and business.
