J.I.D of Spillage Village began his rap career after being kicked out of college and has never looked back. Receiving support from media outlets such as Vice Magazine’s Noisey, 2dopeboyz, The Source, Fader Magazine, Mass Appeal and Complex, the East Atlanta native continues to garner attention with every verse and quickly beginning to be a fan favorite.
Trading in school books and football cleats for notepads and microphones, J.I.D was a former standout student-athlete at Hampton University, where he met fellow Atlanta natives and Spillage Village Collective rap duo, Earthgang. Working closely with Earthgang, J.I.D began touring alongside them on Ab-Soul’s 2014 “These Days” 50-city tour. Having released two well received mixtapes, Para Tú and Dicaprio, as well as several collaborative projects with Earthgang, Jordan Bryant, and Hollywood JB of Spillage Village.

J.I.D continues to build a loyal fanbase, as along with his recent tours, J.I.D has performed on various platforms around the country from the A3C Hip Hop festival in his hometown of Atlanta,GA to the SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX.
