Los Angeles 3-Piece Crescendo is powered by romanticism, science fiction, imagination, and self-reflection. It all started with Gregory Cole writing songs about falling in love inside of an oil painting last year (2014) on their debut album "Lost Thoughts", among other adventures inspired by impressionism, supporting others, & taking magical explorations, which eventually gave birth to a world engraved in their records. Cole as well as Olive Kimoto & Jess Rojas is a romantic, and along with their love for science fiction and space it continues to mold every note and lyric on their discography. "Lost Thoughts" was a collection of Gregory's sub-conscious, a journey through his mind & space, an unraveling of his human mind, body, & soul. Blossoming out of their friendships would create a movement, the Dreamgaze Collective. The three team up on their second release, "Unless". Tales of love & magical dimensions come to life; many of their inspirations would come from immersing themselves in romanticism & the arts daily. "Unless" is the word used to begin conversations that require toppling enormous feats, impossible actions required for impossible results & destinations. The word was then used to connect Space Travel, Self-Reflection, Alternate Dimensions, & Romanticism for the band’s sophomore album. It felt right for the group of dreamers. "Lost Thoughts" was years of Cole imagining himself flying away from his bedroom in Los Angeles; hence, months later after landing back from his dimensional travels, Los Angeles would drastically change. Due to the powerful friendship of Crescendo, Gregory, Olive, and Jess built a space ship that took them to places beyond their wildest dreams. These are their stories...
