Growing up the son of a gospel musician, music has always played a major part in Jabo’s life.

Jabo’s previous bodies of work include Alabama TalKING Vols. 1-3 as well as Anatomy of a Street Genius.Heavily influenced by east coast rap legends Nas, Jay-Z, and the late Notorious BIG just to name a few, Jabo manages to balance the southern hip hop style perfectly through is prodigious music. Jabo’s music is directed to each and any person who can relate, this is why it is evident he is destined to become a household name, legendary and a movement all his own. Jabo is inspired by the spirit and memory of his mother, who passed from Lupus while he was 13. She serves as a beacon for his drive. Even facing death himself, Jabo survived a violent robbery in where he was shot twice. Jabo is inspired by the hard-working, the humble and the accomplished. An advocate for community outreach, Jabo is a mentor to kids throughout the community and receives inspiration from them in return as his gratification. He hopes to work with TI and Devin tha Dude in the near future. With his lifelong motto of the golden rule, “do unto others as you would have them to unto you”, the payoff for following his own advice will be manifested in a very big way.
