Calvin Martyr is an up and coming Hip-Hop artist out of Austin, TX. Well known for his passionate and high energy live performances, he is making his mark as one of the premier lyricists in the live music capital of the world. Calvin has shared the stage with some big names in the industry including Da T.R.U.T.H., Bizzle, Eshon Burgundy, Dream Junkies, and many more. He was also an official artist during SXSW 2014. The oldest son of a non-denominational pastor in Round Rock, at an early age he gave his life to Christ. However, this did not spare Calvin from making many of the same mistakes that our youth are still making today. As a result, he raps out of a deep conviction and compassion for lost souls. The heart of his message is truth; a truth that he lives on and off the stage as a husband, father, minister, friend, mentor, and son who still serves in his family’s church.

His vision for his music career is the same as it has always been. His desire is to, first and foremost, introduce his Lord and King Jesus Christ to a dying generation of teens and young adults who are seeking for purpose and meaning in this chaotic world. Now more than ever, people need to hear a message of hope. His music speaks to their hearts cry to be defined by a society that only leaves them wanting and unfulfilled. It is his hope that his music will reach their hearts and answer their greatest cries; to be loved, accepted, and understood. Calvin speaks as one who has fallen, but by the grace of God got up and can help others along that same journey.

Calvin is currently working on his Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University. He is happily married to Stefanie, and is the father of two beautiful children, Kameron and Syreniti.
