The line up includes siblings Ryan and Justin Levine, who have been bunkmates since the very beginning, and Andrew Ampaya who has been making music with Ryan for over a decade since their major label stint with RCA. Rounding out the group is Los Angeles based producer/songwriter Erik Janson, whom Ryan met during a month long writing workshop with ASCAP. The two immediately clicked and began a writing and production partnership that helped focus the direction of Wildling's sound, drawing from Erik and Ryan's shared love of both classic songwriting, and the idea of creating unique sonic worlds for these songs to live in. Still looking for a drummer, the band began playing acoustic shows around Venice and Hollywood. Through a mutual friend the band was introduced to Casey Brothers (formerly of indie buzz band Cayucas), and after jamming together at Brother's studio for 10 hours straight, the line up was finalized.

For a band in it’s early stages, Wildling has made one thing clear; they know how to write songs, and they aren’t afraid to explore different production styles under the umbrella of “Indie” rock. With traces of legends like Fleetwood Mac and Talking Heads, to current favorites such as The Black Keys and Young the Giant, it's easy to see why people are starting to talk about Wildling as a band to watch in 2015. They are currently working on their debut EP slated for release this year, and will head out on a North American tour as main support for Young The Giant.
