In 2011, Austin based duo Troller emerged from the local synth scene determined to cast some darkness onto the typical pop formula. Taking influence from heavy metal, dance pop, and hip-hop, Troller attempts to balance the light and the dark, and combine the abstract with palpable song structure. The self-titled LP from 2013 was critically acclaimed and highly sought after, making re-presses necessary across every musical format. The band has since been on several national tours while working hard in the studio on a follow up LP. Troller's sound continues to mature and develop, and with a new album on the horizon, 2015 is setting up a big year for the band.
