Kim Ann Foxman
Kim Ann Foxman has had a phenomenal year. Her remix of "Sunset" by The XX set the scene for her busy Summer DJ schedule with an Ibiza residency at Pacha and Destino, multiple performances at Berlin’s infamous Panorama Bar, as well as London’s Lovebox Festival and Fabric. She ended up moving from NYC to Europe for the Summer to satiate the demand…
Most recently her collaboration with Maya Jane Coles, “Burning Bright", has proven to be the most popular cut from MJC’s album, and her “Dream Project EP” (a collaboration with Ron Jason aka Simoncino) on Love Fever has been absolutely hammered by DJs Maceo Plex, Joris Voorn, Richy Ahmed and Bicep (to name but a few) and received rave reviews XLR8R Review here .
Next up is an EP on Heidi’s prestigious Jackathon label at the end of the year, with further solo material leading to an album in 2014. Summer 2013 has also seen her feature on Radio One with Heidi, a Boiler Room Session with Maya Jane Coles (the most ‘likes’ for a session that Boiler Room has EVER received), and sessions on Mixmag Live in both Sweden and London. She is now focusing on the USA for the rest of the year with a brief UK visit to play exclusive sets at Fabric and Manchester’s prestigious Warehouse Project (already sold out) in December. Then she hits South America and Asia in early 2014 before another Summer in Europe. Her Soundcloud has exploded this year with her DJ mixes attracting a following of 61,000 and counting!
