Though Kristy Lee Peters’ turn under the KLP moniker is just one year old, the Sydney DJ, producer and vocalist has already established an impressive list of achievements.
2013 kicked things off with a slew of exciting local and international collaborations culminating in the Hype Machine #1, What So Not (Flume and Emoh Instead) monster ‘Jaguar’.
Never one to stand still, KLP was named one of the 10 Local Producers to Watch in 2014 by inthemix.com, selected to play the EMC Spotlight, crowned Triple J Unearthed Field Day winner and in her spare time is also a facilitator with the Heaps Decent initiative!
Starting 2014 with all guns blazing, KLP has more collaborations underway – with Diplo amongst others, new music ready to release and will be showcasing at SXSW.
Her latest solo offering DECIDE, is a super-hooky, multi-vocal layered and bass driven jam, showing us a new side to KLP's ever growing repertoire, proving again why she is one of Australia's most exciting new industry talents.
