Listen to Ryou Cannon

In 2014 Gold Beach will release their much anticipated second record, entitled Ryou Cannon. After raising 12k on Kickstarter, main songwriter, Michael Winningham, enlisted Sam Cohen (frontman for Brooklyn's Yellowbirds) to produce and Brian Deck (Iron and Wine) to mix the record.

Ryou Canon is the result of the band secluding themselves in a studio in Driftwood Texas, so that all energy could be put into the new recordings.
Michael quickly began identifying new and inspiring instruments to evolve the Gold Beach pallet.

Gold Beach is no longer a bedroom project..

Gold Beach is now taking strong live sketches of songs and recording these arrangements live in the studio. You can expect to hear something different this time around, the new music growing, grabbing you a little tighter, while still maintaining a sense of space and anxiety.
