After picking up DJing just four years ago, Tourmaline has developed into an accomplished DJ and blossoming young producer with a creative vision that shows no limits. Tourmaline grew up on a variety of disco and funk music, creating an eclectic musical influence for her to pull from. Hearing a classic disco anthem mixed into the middle of a banging tech house set is never out of the ordinary for Tourmaline. Proclaiming herself as the "Gothic Disco" vessel, Tourmaline finds inspiration ranging from Disco to dark and edgy music from all genres.

In 2013 Tourmaline saw her career begin to flourish, flooded with gig offers and renowned for her talent and charisma, she was signed as a Red Cube DJ in the latter part of the year. Tourmaline is a resident DJ at Harlem in her hometown of Portland, Oregon and has headlined at other area clubs including, The Fez, Whiskey Bar and Q Nightclub. As a Red Cube DJ Tourmaline has had the opportunity to play alongside a slew of major acts including: Channel Surfer, Designer Drugs, DJ Cafine, Donald Glaude, Freestylers, Gareth Emery, Hatiras, Lea Luna, Le Castle Vania, Rebecca & Fiona, Showtek, Sue Cho, Sydney Blu and Tommie Sunshine. Over the Summer Tourmaline had the pleasure of being an official DJ for the SXSW V2V Convention in Las Vegas, also playing at local hotspot Vanguard. In the past Tourmaline has also headlined major events such as Portland Advertising Federation's "The Rosey Awards" and The Paul Mitchell Fashion show In Portland.

It comes as no surprise that Tourmaline is a crowd favorite, known for playing a variety of funky, techy and house beats that get a whole room on their feet and going wild. Look for Tourmaline to be a major name in the dance music scene for 2014.
