Marketing and Branding in Live Music Business Today

Marketing and branding are central to the live music business today. Promoters look first to marketing strategies when trying to increase ticket sales. Booking agents and agencies are increasingly taking the lead role in collaborating on advancing shows with venues. What form do these efforts take? How does marketing and branding impact the artist and audience?
