College Sports' New World: The Long(horn) View
The University of Texas is a leader regionally and nationally as a collegiate "brand" - the question going forward is how to sustain that brand and mission, evolve it to reflect the emerging issues in sports generally and collegiate sports in particular, and confirm an identity committed to both educational excellence and academic achievement. Discussion can include emerging NCAA issues, conference matters, the new Texas and the new Austin, how the University will build in and around the new University of Texas Medical School, etc.
