Sounds Under Radio
SOUNDS UNDER RADIO's second full-length album Where My Communist Heart Meets My Capitalist Mind takes the bands creation of vast soundscapes to a new level with a dynamic confluence of pop anthems that push against progressive and angular boundaries. The band will be touring extensively through out 2011 in support of album and building on its past successes with The Vampire Diaries Soundtrack and the Spiderman 3 Soundtrack. In 2007, SOUNDS UNDER RADIO first gained attention as the only unsigned band on the Spiderman 3 Soundtrack followed by the release their debut album Cinematica in 2008. The band continued to gain fans both from touring and their continued success working with TV and film including writing and recording the end theme for War Games II, music and sound design for the website for The Wolfman (Universal Pictures 2010), and most recently having 3 songs featured on the The Vampire Diaries. This lead to the band re-working their track "All You Wanted" with Alison Sudol of A Fine Frenzy for inclusion on the recently released Vampire Diaries Soundtrack and a successful tour with cast members of the show in conjunction with Hot Topic stores. Look for more high profile TV and Film placements and extensive touring through out 2011.
