AVAN LAVA is New York City’s freshest Super-Pop act to come out since Madonna. Blending dance beats, lush synths, R&B vocals, and pop choreography, they create a passionate, high energy show to get people off their phones and back on the dance floor. AVAN LAVA became official in early 2010
with the release of their first EP, Vapors. The band is TC (vox), Ian Pai, and Le Chev, with additional live performers Andrew Schneider, Drew Citron and Jo Lampert.

Their sophomore EP Flex Fantasy was mastered by Tom Coyne at Sterling Sound (Robyn, Beyonce, Jay-Z, D’Angelo) and self-released in February 2012. The official video for their single “It’s Never Over” premiered as a feature on YouTube Music. Their video for “Sisters,” an unrequited love story shot
on location in San Juan, Puerto Rico, became a Vimeo Staff Pick and has garnered over 105K views.

They have worked as Producers, Composers and Mixers for recorded works and live performances with bands such as Cold Cave, Fischerspooner, Cat Power, CSS, Frankie Rose, SSION, Lemonade, Lia Ices, Matthew Barney and The New York Philharmonic. The group also composes original music for world
renowned fashion photographers Inez & Vinoodh, working on campaigns for Nina Ricci, Viktor & Rolf, Dior, and more. They have made official remixes for R.E.M., Passion Pit and NewVillager among others. AVAN LAVA will release their debut full-length record in 2013.
