JON MCXRO
In the evolving world of music, diversity is the key to success. When JON MCXRO came together, their mission was clear: put all of their talents to the forefront and merge them into one unique sound.
JON MCXRO is an acronym made from its lead members’ names. A group within a group, with Jon Yip aka ‘Jon Street,’ Jeremy Reeves aka ‘Jerm Beats’ and Ray Romulus aka ‘RayRo’ of the Grammy- nominated, multi-platinum production team the Stereotypes (Far East Movement, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige and many more) joined by Houston emcee Three (government last name McDaniel).
What started out as a fun experimental, passion project for the four guys soon evolved into ‘The Fifth of Never,’ a complete 9-track album. RayRo says, “The album title is a term we frequently use, and when asked when we were going to start our own project, our reply was always, ‘on the 5th of never.’”
