Mari, Matt, and Jake Abdo, are the siblings who are LYNHURST. The band is named after the South Minneapolis Park and neighborhood where they grew up. After a year of touring, writing, and recording, LYNHURST delivers a 5 song EP titled “One Of These Days.” Mari, 21 recently stepped out from behind the drums to take over lead vocals. Matt, 24 sings, plays keys and guitar, and Jake, 25 plays bass and sings. Ed Hermanek emigrated from Chicago and stepped in as the band’s new drummer. “It’s really a new band with a new vibe and attitude, “says Mari. “It’s easier for me to connect with the audience from the front and it is very exciting!”
