My Name is You
Brandon & Anne met at university in southern California. After graduation Brandon took to the road and the studio; he co-produced Greg Laswell's 2008 release "Three Flights From Alto Nido" and has recorded for and toured with a host of singer-songwriters including Joshua Radin, Cary Brothers, Greg Laswell, Ingrid Michaelson and Tristan Prettyman. Anne began her post-university career with a move to Kenya, where she taught music in a school and worked in an orphanage.
They met up a few years later when Brandon was touring across Europe and Anne was living in Scotland. Both had been writing songs, and they decided to collaborate on a project. Later that year they met up in Los Angeles to make a record, and My Name is You was born.
In the fall of 2011, the duo released their debut self titled EP, a rich convergence of orchestral indie-folk and heartfelt lyrics.
