Partners in music, business, and life, bassist/composer/producer Joël Dilley and songwriter/vocalist/pianist Bett Butler have performed together for over two decades in configurations from jazz trios to small orchestras. With a repertoire ranging from original world fusion to straight-ahead jazz to beloved standards, Dilley aspires to give a human voice to the bass, with all its various emotional tone colors, while Butler frequently uses her voice as an instrument, often soloing in unison with piano lines.
