Canadian born Jordan Cook has electrified audiences all over the world. Cook has been seen showcased at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he was the first Canadian rock artist to tour China, and was declared the revelation of the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. He has made guest appearances with such legends as Van Morrison, B.B. King, and the Aretha Franklin band.
This past year Cook owned a month long residency at The Viper Room in Los Angeles, following a feature at Viper's SXSW showcase in Texas, and Toronto’s NXNE. Maclean’s magazine named Cook as one of ‘100 Canadians to Watch’ and the guitar god himself Jeff Healey stated Jordan Cook being “the finest player in the world today”. Cook’s latest release, Seven Deadly Sins, has just been nominated for two Western Canadian Music awards, as well earned the attention of Ben Shepherd from Soundgarden, Matt Chamberlin (Pearl Jam/David Bowie), the Matrix Production team, and AC/DC manager Alvin Handwerker who all had a hand in the album. 2012 has kicked off with upcoming confirmed official showcases at SXSW(TX), The Great Escape(UK) and Canadian Music Week.
The Jordan Cook Show will remind you that rock isn't sleeping with his swaggering blues, honest unrestrained lyrics, towering energy and the multitude of gear aiming to take over the audience with every drop of sweat.

Press Quotes:
"With the long awaited release of his new album, Seven Deadly Sins, Cook is poised to take the world by storm with his white hot brand of half-man/half-beast/half-rock/half-blues string slinging and his howl at the moon vocal attack."
-The Session, Craig Silliphant. 2011/02/22

“Cook was a searing ball of energy. The former child prodigy is an insane guitarist who isn't content to play in any ordinary way. He played upside-down. He played with one hand. He played with a guitar whirling around his head. And it was awesome!”
-The Star Phoenix 2011/01/02 – Stephanie McKay

"Voted for best set of the NXNE festival, Mr. Jordan Cook"
-Evil Shananigans/Toronto - 2011/06/19

"To see Jordan Cook in the live is to feel as if you’re watching flesh become legend”. 2011/02/11
-dharma69.wordpress.com / High Voltage Magazine

"With over 13,000 bands in the city of Los Angeles all trying to make their mark it’s difficult to determine who has “it,” that “star quality” audiences can simultaneously identify with, admire, and desire. Fortunately, Jordan Cook is back to blow the top off the Viper Room...Infused with the passion and confidence of a seasoned player and the ambition and drive of someone much younger, Cook mixes blues, gritty rock n’ roll, and all around bad-assness into his guitar playing." viperroom.com/blog 2011/02/08

"He was all over the stage, driving the crowd into a frenzy, grinding sounds from his guitar with the back of his hand, the ceiling beams, the mic stand. His extended solos were soul-dripping, finger-flailing explosions that he looked like he could have done in his sleep."
-Seattle Weekly 2011/05/12 -Todd Hamm

“A guitar prodigy who's played for as long as he's been able to swing the axe, Cook spent his Saturdays jamming and learning the strings from the masters at the all-ages jam sessions [in his hometown blues bar]. At 15, he was rubbing shoulders with B.B. King at the Montreux Jazz Festival.”
- The Vancouver Sun

"Jordan Cook combines swaggering blues and sneering punk to forge a totally authentic and growling force. Add some stinging solo's and veracious lyrics and you have quite an introduction. Maniacal in his own right, Cook's intense performances bring brave colour to todays meaning of rock 'n roll".
