Cairo Knife Fight is a duo of a singing, looping, keyboard bass playing drummer and a two amped, steroed guitarist. It's a ferocious noise for just two men and in the two years since forming Cairo Knife Fight has performed alongside some of rock's finest acts including Them Crooked Vultures, Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters, released two EP's, been nominated for a New Zealand Music Award for 'Best Rock Album' and toured internationally in Australia and the USA.

Their most recent release has been described as "brilliantly unhinged, hallucinatory, and riff-fired music" containing "the most monumental, chest-beating riff to come out of Kiwi rock in years"

In Dec 2011 the band will support The Foo Fighters in their only NZ show to an audience in excess of 50,000 people.
