Tomás Mier

Tomás Mier is a Mexican American music journalist. He is a Staff Writer at Rolling Stone, where he’s dedicated to covering trends in pop and Latin music. Tomás is a frequent guest moderator at the Grammy Museum’s programs, where he hosts interviews with musicians such as Sabrina Carpenter, Ellie Goulding, and Stromae. He also runs a successful TikTok page with more than 128k followers, focused on live music and interviews. Before his work at Rolling Stone, Mier was a Digital Music Writer at People Magazine, where he wrote a cover story about a survivor of Marilyn Manson. His byline has also been featured in outlets such as Teen Vogue, Los Angeles Times, San Jose Mercury News, and BESE. Tomás graduated from the University of Southern California and holds a B.A. in Journalism and Contemporary Latino Studies.
