Joe Manganiello

Actor, producer, director, author, Emmy winning voice actor, and reality competition host; holds a BFA in acting from The Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. Most recently, executive producer and host of season two of NBC’s hit series DEAL OR NO DEAL ISLAND.
This summer, he’ll be starring opposite Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon, Lorraine Bracco, and Talia Shire in the Netflix comedy NONNAS. And next year he sets sail as the villainous pirate captain: Mr. Zero/Sir Crocodile, in Netflix’s live action adaptation of the most popular Manga/Anime in Japanese history: ONE PIECE.
Recently starred opposite Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson, in the feature film THE KILL ROOM. Previously, spent the better part of five years putting together the Official 50 Year History of Dungeons & Dragons doc series he directed and produced for eOne and Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro.
As an actor, best known as the werewolf Alcide Herveaux on HBO's TRUE BLOOD, Big Dick Richie in Steven Soderbergh's MAGIC MIKE & MAGIC MIKE XXL, Pee Wee Herman’s best friend in PEE WEE’S BIG HOLIDAY, and Batman’s nemesis: DEATHSTROKE in Zack Snyder’s JUSTICE LEAGUE.
Worked over the years as a paid consultant and writer for Dungeons & Dragons which led to him being recruited to write and develop their New York Times bestselling series of novels, DRAGONLANCE for TV/streaming as a show-runner.
He serves on the board of directors at both UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and The Children of Armenian Fund.
