Ricard Sunyol

Ricard Sunyol is a writer and one of the founding partners of Codea Studio, a creative agency based in Barcelona. A passionate reader of Franz Kafka and Witold Gombrowicz, and a great admirer of David Byrne and Dada, these and other artists have shown him how absurdity and nonsense can be powerful forms of humanism—ways of making sense of a world and a creative industry that often lacks meaning. He has also been a university professor and feels at home in the darkness of a cinema, away from himself.
