Amanda Nummy
Amanda Nummy is a senior polymer engineer specializing in sustainability and alternative energy. She holds a B.S. in Polymer, Textile, and Fiber Engineering from Georgia Tech, M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Wayne State University, and M.S. in Biomimicry from Arizona State University. Ms. Nummy works at the Hyundai America Technical Center outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she is responsible for all plastic components in North and South America, and leads global collaborations for vehicle development. Notable experience throughout her career includes hydrogen and biomedical fuel cells, specialty textiles, nanomaterials, advanced processing and recycling technologies, and reclaimed ocean-bound plastics.
