Mima Holt

Global Coordinator, International
NRDC

Mima Holt was born and raised in the Philippines, one of the most climate vulnerable countries in the world. She has been part of the climate movement since her teens, and has worked on a diverse range of issues related to climate justice. She was part of the Philippine delegation to the UN climate negotiations that worked on the Paris Agreement, and was heavily involved in campaigns that fought the fossil fuel industry with Greenpeace Southeast Asia. At the World Resources Institute, she co-led research, analysis, and strategic engagement on priority issues for vulnerable countries. Now at NRDC, she works with campaigners all over the world to stop the global expansion of liquefied natural gas (LNG) infrastructure and protect communities from the risks and impacts of LNG buildout.
