Hannah Lux Davis is an award-winning filmmaker from Seattle, Washington, known for her sharp attention to detail, striking imagery, and iconic vision. Inspired by music videos during TRL’s heyday, she moved to Los Angeles at 18 to study at the New York Film Academy and Los Angeles Film School, determined to direct and edit pop videos. Now, blending glossy aesthetics with grit, she has become the go-to director for the new generation, uniquely understanding their brand of pop star treatment. A-list artists consistently turn to HLD to elevate their image and brand.

HLD’s music videos have earned numerous awards, including nearly two dozen MTV VMA nominations—two for Best Direction—and have set YouTube and Vevo records, such as most views in 24 hours and fastest video to 100 million views with thank u, next. When artists need to make a statement, they turn to HLD.

Beyond music videos, HLD continues expanding her impact across industries. She has directed docu-series (Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated, Alex Morgan: The Equalizer), launch campaigns (Pepsi, Pandora ME), and celebrity collaborations (L’Oréal, McDonald’s, Old Navy, Taco Bell, Samsung). She also directed and story-produced The Demi Lovato Show on Roku and creates avant-garde tour visuals.

Her signature blend of beauty, style, and humor, along with her instinct for cultural trends, makes her one of the most in-demand creatives in music, advertising, TV, film, and tech. She frequently serves on industry panels, sharing her expertise. Known for her hands-on approach from pre-production to final cut, she ensures every frame is flawless.
