Christine is an award-winning innovation leader, entrepreneur, and strategist shaping the future of global food systems. She founded GIGA, an innovation and investment platform tackling billion-dollar challenges and unlocking trillion-dollar opportunities for climate resilience and food security.
Author of 'The Change-Maker's Guide to Feeding the Planet' and Founder of Thought For Food® (TFF), Christine built the world’s leading next-gen agrifood innovation community, engaging 30K+ Millennial & GenZ entrepreneurs across 180+ countries, accelerating 100+ startups ($300M+ raised), and collaborating with Danone, DSM, Cargill, Leaps by Bayer, Google, and NEOM.
At Syngenta, she led strategic initiatives in biotechnology and advanced breeding, launching an open-licensing platform for agricultural traits. Christine co-led the Food Systems Game Changers Lab (EAT, IDEO, Forum for the Future, Rockefeller Foundation) and advised the UN Food Systems Summit. She’s an Acumen Fellow, IMAGINE Leader, Swiss Digital Shaper, and Demeter Award recipient. Forbes named her among the 'Top 10 Women in SynBio for Food', and her work has been featured in MIT Tech Review, BBC, The Financial Times, and The Economist. She produced two award-winning docu-films (Generation Food won the MarComm Platinum Award), created the ‘WTF: Where’s the Farmer’ video series, and spearheaded events recognized by UNEP & Fast Company. Christine holds an MPA in Science & Technology Policy (Columbia University) and a BA in Security & Defense Economics (American University).
