Danielle Krekket Cobb

Danielle Krettek Cobb founded Google Empathy Lab in 2015 with the aim of creating humane, prosocial technology informed by empathy, resilience, and wisdom of heart. The Lab takes an interdisciplinary approach to guide emerging technologies like AI with a heart-first perspective. Its empathy-driven methods enable teams to deliberate thoughtfully, shaping technology to deepen and expand human experience. Inspired by natural patterns of interconnected flourishing, Danielle has collaborated with scientific and cultural partners including NASA’s JPL, UC Berkeley’s Social Interaction lab, the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, and Stanford’s Motivation Lab, among others.
